Life On Venus

Article Comprehension:

1) What breakthroughs have led to hopes of discovering potential alien life?
Finding liquid water on venus.

2) Why has the existence of alien life been difficult to prove?
Because of how hot it is over 864 degrees fahrenheit.

3) Why would it be easier to verify if there is life on Venus?
Because it is the closest planet to earth.

4) What makes researchers sure there is no possibility of life on Venus?
It's so hot on venus, that their have trouble believing that there is a possibility of life (864 Degrees fahrenheit).

5) What did American and Russian probes find while observing Venus?
They found that the temperature and pressure conditions might be favourable to earth.

6) Why did Harold Morowitz and Carl Sagan think there could be life in Venus’s atmosphere?
They noted that the is carbon dioxide and sunlight.

7) What did Sanjay Limaye and his team focus on for their research?
He has been focusing on shape-changing dark patches for 10 decades.

8) What did the researchers discover?
That the particles making up the patches have the same dimensions as single-celled light-emitting bacteria on earth.

Venus also comprises largely of carbon dioxide and water droplets which contains sulphuric acid.

They are aloud to get up close and personal with our nearest neighbouring planet.

They don’t expect aliens to show up.
