The island was usual enough.
It had, a nature walk, an estuary, a bridge and a majestic view heading into the horizon.
My friends and I did what boys did, wrestled on the island, ran along the rocky side of the island, waiting without patience for the waves to pummel us with salty essence, bombing into the fresh, cool water, tramping through the eerie forest.
Doing nothing important at all.
